Great to hear about your circumstances and dedication to the Master!
Sounds to me like you are perfectly positioned to follow the great commission to 'go and make disciples' in your part of the earth. Stick your feet down on your patch there and see yourself as His ambasadore with all the dignity and authority such a position gives you particularly as it seems yoe are His only re-presentative in that place.
Look in the back of the epistles and follow up on the concept of 'the church in your house'. If you need teaching materials or help in this work I hope there are those on this board who could/would provide it. Follow some threads and request assistance you may need from those you are guided to. Holy Spirit will lead the way if you will follow.
Blessings brother in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Dear Brother Modesty,

Consider your concerns our concerns. The language to me is not a difficulty. I will personally be in prayer for the situation in which you find yourself.

Just talk to us as friends and tell us how you are feeling and how we can support you. You will find that many members may have different opinions as to interpretations of scripture, doctrines, etc. They are always unfailing in their devotion to prayer. All of us here believe that "prayer changes things."

Lord, what a change within us one short hour
Spent in Thy presence will prevail to make;
What heavy burdens from our bosoms take,
What parchèd fields refresh as with a shower!

We kneel, and all around us seems to lower;
We rise, and all, the distant and the near,
Stands forth in sunny outline, brave and clear;
We kneel, how weak; we rise, how full of power.

Why should we ever weak or heartless be,
Why are we ever overborne with care,
Anxious or troubled, when with us is prayer,
And joy, and strength, and courage are with Thee?

Only by grace,

Elizabeth :)

That seems evident, but when we attend in a public school during 15 year we just never know what a holy house is. The man and woman just learn how to make salary, serve their boss. Without this domestic culture, all come chaotic after just few day of laziness. It is a lack of practice, the outside just hate serves their house as a slave, they spit on their pan and they don’t call their husband like a husband. Here all of the people call their spouse a “my chum”, my blonde. I hate to recognize that, I and my wife are so stupid. This is why my username is modesty. What is the best forum to us?
In Him

Dear Bro. Modesty,

Thank you for your frankness in describing your situation. I am from Canada too, but live on Vancouver Island, the extreme western part of Canada.

For clarification, I seem to hear you saying that people today aren't interested in having beauty and order in their home. Good housekeeping is a thing of the past. In my day  , we were taught in Home Economics "A place for everything and everything in its place." Nowadays, it really doesn't matter to many people. I believe it is our job as parents, role models and leaders of a family, that the home should be a place of beauty and order. When I say beauty, I don 't mean many expensive items and expensive furniture. Orderliness and organization is beauty.

As far as your comments about modern marriage are concerned, it is true that the husband and wife act more like an unruly brother and sister instead of leaders and role models of a family. Perhaps that is why divorce is so common today.

Some of it is because of their very lax and permissive upbringing where they have not grown up yet and should not be married to anyone, let alone have children. Even my daughter was commenting upon this very thing as recently as this week. She has trouble hiring staff because of their lack of work ethic and general sense of entitlement.

Having said all of the above, I am not speaking about all families. Perhaps you could be a little more clear about the public school situation. I would not, if I were you be too concerned about what other people think of you. Most of them do not have a background upon which to compare the Christian life and service. Our Pastor said that quite recently also. That was in relation to dealing with teenagers today. They have no idea what the Bible says about anything because it is no longer taught in public schools or in the homes.

As far as forums are concerned, I can not give an example or recommend a forum to you. I don't contribute to any other forums. I am only a member of Facebook which I don't think will assist you. Perhaps some of the other members could recommend a bible-based forum to you.

I hope this helps.

Only by grace,

Elizabeth :)

Where in Quebec do you live?

About 23 years ago, I lived in Ottawa with a dear sister-in-Christ from a Cree reserve in northern Quebec. There were four of us living in a condominium together. It had wall to wall carpeting everywhere. I remember my Cree room-mate telling me that she would much prefer a dirt floor and a teepee any day over living in a wall to wall carpeting home. We enjoyed precious fellowship together.

The last I had heard she went back up north to live. She lived on a reserve near the tip of James Bay. (I forget its name, but I could probably find it out.)

Lord bless,

Flora
That I may know Him - and make Him known.

am strong enough to tell you that I believe in the apparence
God ask no apparence of evil
So apparence is important, reputation too, testimony too
In this way I ask my wife and my daugthers to dress a robe.

Dear Elizabeth,

For now, I lost my work’s time to keep an eye on everything, sure I can help and support but it is not my role. Well the sexual revolution shaking the fundamental and essential laws for the family, gift of God.
I’m sure there is a way in prayer and action to find an issue in honour.

In Him

Dear Bro. Modesty

Are you saying that you have become a house-husband, as you are not working outside of the home at present but taking care of things inside the home? Sometimes, because of world economics and circumstances, we have to assume a different role in the home for a time. We still are called to do things that are outside of our normal role to help the family as a whole. So, housework and home-making are honourable occupations.

Only by grace,

E

Sorry Modesty, I hit the edit button instead of the quote button. Sigh!

What wrong in it, when we have some values we have something to teach
The worse thing is to live in a place where nobody share our style of life if it just a style. I hope it is an expression of my faith,
I ask any of you to pen pal with to help each other
English is my second language

Errata
English second language
And I heard from my own wife that some aged woman
came modern and uncultured as a christian shouldm't be, (bible cultured us, god is not a mode or a fashion)
freedom, independence is the best word for feminist.
