You heard it here first if you didn't already know it:

EDMONTON ARE DONE! DONE, DONE DONE.

5 GAMES MAX.

NO ROLLIE = NO GOALIE = NO CHANCE. :(

I'm bummed about it too. But Edmonton has no chance with a second rate back up.

Mark my words. Series over.

Yes, late in the third. Hurt his knee. A teammate and a Hurricanes' player collided with him in the net. Declared out for the series by coach Craig MacTavish just minutes after the game.

Ouch. We're down to about a 25%chance of winning without Rollie the Goalie. There were some sad junior fans at our house in Edmonton last night.

Who is this other goalie Ty Conklin anyways? Is he any good?

There are two other goalies - Conlkin and Markkanen. Now, just to clarify, I enjoy playoff hockey (fast moving, exciting games), but I am not a rabid fan (that's my son), so I am not an authority. However, the general feeling that I get is that both other goalies are OK (they play in the NHL after all), but lack Rolleson's "star quality".

The big question here in the home town is who will play in goal tonight.

:( All things are possible, but the likelihood is small. At least they managed to recover from game two. If we have to lose, we can lose playing well.

:?: Is the impossible possible? Could I be wrong?

I don't think so. I still think it's over. But I have been watching every game this series, and I'll tell you the truth, if Edmonton loses, it WON'T be because of Markkanen. That guy is playing great.
